This is the first unit available that can operate on 4 different frequencies simultaneously (216, 217, 219, and 220). No more interferance problems or "overlap" problems with channels. One receiver can track up to 64 collars. Even though the receiver and antenna weigh only 1-1/2 pounds, together they are capable of providing several miles of clear reception. The RD-400 system is easy to use and offers some huge advantages to hunters, biologists, and others who need a reliable tracking system. The receiver operates on a user-replaceable 9-volt battery for up to 20 hours of continuous use while the collar transmitter operates on a 3-volt lithium battery and provides approximately 200 hours of continuous use. The low-battery indicator on the receiver allows you to be sure your system is ready to track when you need it. The handy backlight feature on the meter allows for easier nighttime viewing and the new illuminated LCD display lets you know at a glance which channel your system is tracking.
